Evansville Students Take to Streets to Stop Abuse

One in three teens are in an abusive relationship and Wisconsin students want to break the silence. For a second-year project called “Refuse 2 Bruise,” Evansvile High students painted windows on their city’s main street to take a stand against abusive relationships. Some wore t-shirts with “When push comes to shove, it’s no longer love.” One student, Janes, painted numbers on a cell phone to spread the message that abuse happens more through technology now.
